Get to Know: J.A.W. Cooper

In anticipation of this week's release, we sat down with artist J.A.W. Cooper to learn a bit about her and her artwork.  Take a look below:

Where were you born and where are you now?

I was born in the U.K., grew up in Kenya, Sweden, Ireland, and the U.S., and currently live in smelly smelly downtown Los Angeles (which I love.)

Could you tell us a bit about your release with us this week?

Death imbues life with beautiful dynamic urgency. Life is immeasurably valuable because it is fleeting.

When you're not creating, what are you up to?

Camping, hiking, and traveling! There is nothing I love more than time spent completely alone in nature.

What's next for you in 2019?

LightBox Expo Sept 6-8, camping every month, and keeping my geriatric chinchilla pampered in the manner to which he is accustomed.
