People's Printshop artist Juan Travieso currently has a brand new body of work on view virtually at Talon Gallery in Portland, Oregon.
Travieso paints a natural world both fractured and vibrant, exploring biodiversity and human impact via semi-abstract portraits of various species of plants, birds and animals. His choice of color is always striking and in recent works has been centering the subjects on a black background which provides an intense contrast with the brilliant hues.
